Presentation of the OES and its core values
The European Health Organisation is distinguished by its strong identity, an innovative vision of health, and committed partnerships across Europe. Its open structure, neutrality, and European roots make it an NGO serving the public interest.
President of the European Health Organization
With a university degree in medecine, Jean-Dominique Beaujaut is a medical practitioner, acupuncturist, and phytotherapist. He also holds qualifications in traditional Chinese medicine (Leamington Clinic, UK, 1987 and Nice, France, 2001) and clinical phytotherapy (Bailleul, 1993 and Paris, 2000), specializing in nutrition, micronutrition, and Chinese dietetics. He is certified by the Kousmine Medical Association (Paris, 1990).
As a trainer, he has conducted numerous teaching assignments in the field of nutritional education and active prevention of lifestyle diseases, at universities, training centers and hospitals.
Also European lecturer, he is the author of popular books on Chinese medicine and nutrition: Energy and Health, The Five Flavours, Rhythm and Vitality, published by Trédaniel.

He works in partnership with the European Commission to support the development of health promotion within the framework of primary prevention. In the same time, he maintains a link with Eurostat to contribute to statistics on the dietary knowledge and habits of young European populations.
At the European level, the OES's commitment encourages a rethinking of geopolitics from the perspective of European cooperation between countries. The strengthening of primary prevention is one illustration of this, in order to adapt active prevention to the specific national characteristics of each country.
Politically neutral, religiously independent.
Of European and international scale.
Integration of all components of health.
Holistic reasoning, focusing on health rather than solely on disease.
Participation in organizing transdisciplinarity, to bring together fields often far removed from health.
Integration within an evolving environment.
An ambition to harness the diversity that generates a fresh perspective and to develop local exchanges.
Name
OES is the acronym for Organisation Européenne de la Santé, meaning European Health Organisation. On 13 July, 2006, the Legal Advice Service of the Treaty Office of the Council of Europe in Strasbourg authorized the OES to use the European emblem, featuring seven stars, for the NGO's activities, in accordance with its statutes and in compliance with the objectives of the Council of Europe or the European Union. The authorization to use the OES emblem should not be interpreted as implying agreement to a trademark registration procedure or any other registration procedure.
Vision
The OES participates in organizing transdisciplinarity to bring together fields often far removed from health, including politics, economics, environment, research and medicine, ethics, agriculture, society and quality of life. The Organization defines a human capital-based strategy, with a long-term life-cycle vision, optimized by integrating health into human resources, creating a dynamic of health relationships, and managing and preserving health capital.
Partnership
The European Health Organisation partners with several stakeholders involved in the field of health and many others.
